SECONDS DEPT. was born out of a love for vintage clothing and re-purposing over landfill.

Our products have been sourced from Australian thrift suppliers. We work closely with some of Australia’s best vintage haulers and only work with apparel that has had a re-purposed shelf life.

We only over print and re-decorate apparel that has been thrifted and unsold for longer than 3 months on our suppliers sites or in stores.

In short, all our re-imagined pieces had a life when they were originally manufactured, had a 2nd chance when on the thrift shelves and now have a 3rd turnaround with our updated prints, tags and finishing.
